Advanced Programs Group (APG) offers benefits that reward our employees and enable them to maintain a healthy work-life balance. All APG employees are eligible for coverage upon their first day of work.
Health Insurance
APG has a premium-only plan (POP) that provides tax savings to its employees on healthcare premium deductions. APG covers a portion of the premium for individual or family insurance coverage. APG offers two Medical plan choices through United Healthcare (PPO and HDHP with HSA), a comprehensive Dental plan through MetLife and a Vision plan through VSP.
Short-Term and Long-Term Disability
APG provides short-term and long-term disability insurance through MetLife at no expense to the employee.
Life Insurance and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D)
APG provides life insurance and accidental death & dismemberment plans through MetLife at no expense to the employee. Each plan offers the employee coverage equal to 1X their annual salary, up to a maximum of $150,000.
APG employees can also choose to elect additional life insurance coverage through MetLife for themselves and their dependents. Coverage amounts vary and are subject to medical underwriting.
Flexible Spending Accounts
APG offers flexible spending accounts for both Medical and Dependent Care expenses through Ameriflex. The maximum annual election is $3,000 for Medical and $5,000 for Dependent Care.
401(k) Retirement Plan
APG employees have the option of investing pre-tax income in a 401(k) account sponsored by APG through Fidelity Investments. Plan options include a selection of 30 mutual funds covering virtually every investing objective and style.
Bonus Plan
APG employees are eligible to receive an annual bonus based on APG’s profitability and employee performance.
Paid Time Off
For maximum flexibility, APG combines vacation and sick leave into a single paid-time off (PTO) program. Employees starting with APG will accrue 120 hours PTO annually. After three years of service, the accrual amount increases to 160 hours PTO annually.
In addition to the PTO accrual, APG observes seven holidays. APG also offers Bereavement Leave, Jury Duty Leave and Military Leave.
Laptop
APG issues every employee a laptop to assist in required on- and off-site versatility and independence.
